A week of retail related events for retail researchers and practitioners

In week 15 (12-16 April) the Centre for Retail Research at Lund University hosted Retail Week, a week of events in English for researchers and others with a broad interest in retail and consumption. The events included two online webinars for practitioners and researchers and a workshop for doctoral students on publishing in scientific journals. If you missed any of the events, you can read about them and even watch some of the recordings on our website.

On Monday 12 April, Edward Moreno, Expansion Planning Manager hos Ingka Group, Lieselott Liljevik, Market- & Trend Analyst at ICA, and the Centre's own researcher Emma Samsioe discussed how we will meet the retail customer in the future.

The journal selection process
On Thursday 15 April, we hosted a workshop for doctoral students on on the topic of publishing and journal selection decisions run by visiting scholars from the UK: Jens Nordfält from the University of Bath and Eleonora Pantano from the University of Bristol.

AI and Advanced Analytics
On Friday 16 April, leading international researchers and practitioners Eleonora Pantano, Cameron Tayor, Arno de Caigny and Yulia Vakulenko presented new perspectives on AI and advanced analytics in retail.
