Yesterday, students in our International Marketing and Brand Management masters programme got the chance to hear about real-life retail challenges faced by Skånemejerier and TePe Oral Hygiene Products.
The students, who are currently studying Multichannel marketing, retail and internationalization, got to hear detailed presentations from brand and category managers about the current retail-related challenges in their categories.
The masters students will work in small groups and use the theories and models that they learn in the course to try to identify solutions to the real-world challenges. Before the winter break, they will present the brand and category managers with shopper marketing interventions to help address those challenges.
Martin Moström, from shopper marketing agency Retail House, gave a crash course in shopper marketing earlier in the day so the students are now fully armed to address their live cases.
